About your role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our Global Consulting firm. The CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and regional leadership teams, while ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the global Head Office in India. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial expertise, cross-border reporting experience, and a commercial mindset to help drive sustainable growth in a fast-paced IT consulting services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all finance and accounting operations across all regions globally, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, tax, treasury, and audit functions, with alignment to global financial goals.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP, and corporate reporting requirements for the Indian Head Office.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and currency exposure across multiple markets.
  • Ensure compliance with all global regulatory requirements, international standards, and Indian parent company policies.
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and risk management frameworks across the business.
  • Work closely with the CEO to align financial planning with business growth and project profitability.
  • Support pricing strategies, contract structuring, and cost optimization in client engagements.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions.
  • Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration for M&A or strategic partnership activities.
  • Drive financial systems improvement and support ERP upgrades or implementations.
  • Having knowledge of non financial reporting (ESG) related to CSRD regulations in EU, IFRS S1 and S2, TCFD framework, GRI and BRSR.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA, or internationally equivalent).
  • Extensive senior financial leadership experience in a global context, ideally within an IT consulting or technology services environment.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-country operations and reporting to a global parent company.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP, and awareness of Indian financial regulations.
  • Commercially savvy with experience in project-based revenue models, SaaS, or IT delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills with cross-cultural experience.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced financial analytics tools.

Preferred

  • Experience working with Indian stakeholders or within an Indian multinational corporate structure.
  • Understanding of intercompany agreements, transfer pricing, and cross-border taxation.
  • Background in digital transformation or technology-enabled finance initiatives.
  • Having substantial knowledge of ESG reporting requirements.
