United Media focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, etc. We have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one (Insurtech Insights, Presidents Summit, Private Equity Insights, HRtechX, CFO Insights, Retail Insights).

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities will vary but include:

• Preparing annual budgets for financial planning.
• Providing weekly cash flow updates.
• Conducting monthly P&L and cash updates for financial insights.
• Implementing cost optimization programs.
• Reviewing intercompany and external loans to ensure financial health.
• Supporting sales and operations teams.
• Leading working capital management.
• Managing human resources financial planning.

What we expect from you

We look for a candidate with an excellent work ethic, high urgency, ownership, proactivity, humility, and a passion for building new businesses. Additionally, you should have:

• An accounting background, preferably with over two years of experience at a Big Four firm.
• Experience as CFO, Head of Finance, or Finance Director in a small or medium-sized business.
• UK work permit.
• Media and conference industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
