Board-level strategic influence

As our Chief Financial Officer, you’ll join our Group Board with genuine strategic influence. Since 2008, we’ve been empowering customers to make more sustainable energy choices. Now we need a finance leader to build the foundations for our next phase of growth and possible future exit.

The finance leader we’re seeking:

Who you are:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with CFO/Finance Director experience
• A strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
• A leader with experience of financial standardisation across multiple business units
• Someone who can translate complex financial information for non-financial audiences
• A relationship builder who works collaboratively with operational leaders
• A professional who consistently fulfils promises and commitments

Your impact & influence:

• Define and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with our business objectives
• Introduce standardised reporting and optimise our financial structure
• Enhance working capital management to enable business investment
• Lead potential capital raising and M&A activities
• Develop exit strategies in line with shareholder objectives
• Demonstrate and explain financial decisions to operational leaders

Essential requirements:

• Qualified accountant with degree-level education
• Significant experience at CFO or Finance Director level
• Proven track record in financial strategy implementation
• Experience working at Board level with shareholders
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships at all levels
