Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a high-growth technology business with a turnover of £100m+. This innovative company is scaling rapidly and requires a strategic financial leader to help guide it through a period of transformation, including developing relationships with banks/funders, managing working capital, forward planning and preparing for an exit.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring strong financial governance and compliance.
2. Lead and advise on exit strategies.
3. Strengthen financial processes and reporting to support business growth and investment readiness.
4. Forward planning and management of working capital.
5. Work alongside the owners to drive commercial success and operational efficiencies.
6. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and funders.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Financial Director/CFO in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment.
2. Expertise in M&A, exits, and fundraising, with a track record of successfully guiding companies through these processes.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change at a senior level.
4. Excellent financial acumen, commercial awareness, and strategic thinking.
5. A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
