Baker Charles in London is seeking a CFO for a high-growth consumer business. You will report to the CEO as a founding member of the board, leading finance across multi-site operations and partnering with non-finance heads to drive revenue and margin.

This role oversees financial control, operational strategy, IT and Legal, with significant board interaction and equity incentive. Hybrid working in central London (Zone 1) with strong six-figure base and performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong leadership experience in fast-paced consumer businesses.
• Proven track record in leading finance functions and partnering with non-finance Heads of Department.
• Experience across multi-site operations (retail, leisure, hospitality) preferred.

A highly successful Consumer businesses with a superb brand profile, a sizeable turnover and superb profitability is seeking to hire a CFO. Our client is hiring a broad CFO reporting to the CEO to lead with breadth in responsibilities across Finance and other areas. This opportunity for you will be as an integral board member and take the company to their next exit.

As the CFO, you will be the key partner to the board and be responsible for leading finance as well as working with non-finance to drive the business growth. You will lead the function with a depth of skill and experience. They will need someone who is effective leading growing finance functions and business partnering with non-finance Heads of Department, driving revenue and margin. This will be a varied role where you will be involved in financial control, operational strategy, business cases for new openings and act as a trusted partner at the hip to the CEO and board. The role will also be responsible for IT and Legal. This role will have significant interaction with the board and have a team underneath you.

The candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and will be comfortable working in a dynamic and commercial environment. The successful candidate will have a successful track record in leadership roles in a fast paced business. Candidates must have multi-site experience – retail, leisure, hospitality. The role would be paying a strong six figure basic salary plus bonus, benefits and equity. The job opportunity is based in central London (zone 1) with hybrid working.
