Harrison Holgate is seeking an ambitious CFO for a market-leading InsurTech business in Greater London. This board-level role aims to deliver a strategic exit by 2028 and build a multi-product platform with equity upside.

As CFO you’ll partner with the CEO, shape the financial architecture, lead capital allocation, reserving and underwriting performance, and prepare investors for exit. Equity, strategic influence, and growth await in this unique opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience as an insurance CFO or senior finance leader.

We're seeking an ambitious and commercially minded CFO to join a market-leading InsurTech business at a pivotal moment in its growth journey. Having successfully disrupted the UK rental market with their flagship product they are building a multi-product platform with a clear strategic exit targeted for 2028.

As CFO, you won't simply lead Finance – you'll become the CEO's closest strategic partner, helping shape the future direction of the business and delivering the financial architecture that underpins their growth and exit ambitions.

This is a genuine board-level leadership role with significant strategic influence, equity upside and the opportunity to create lasting value.

You'll be responsible for:

• Partnering with the CEO to drive business strategy and growth.
• Building a best-in-class finance function capable of supporting a multi-product insurance platform.
• Leading capital allocation, reserving and underwriting performance across the business.
• Delivering investor and exit readiness in preparation for our 2028 strategic exit.
• Providing commercial insight and challenge at Board and Executive level.
• Building the financial narrative that maximises shareholder value.

We're looking for:

• An experienced insurance CFO or senior finance leader with significant insurance sector expertise.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS 17 and/or IFRS 4 and insurance-specific financial management.
• Experience of reserving, capital adequacy frameworks and working alongside actuaries.
• A commercially driven leader who thrives in ambitious, fast-moving environments.
• Someone who combines strategic thinking with a willingness to build, challenge and innovate.
