Job description

SF Executive is working with a PE-backed, high-growth managed services and professional services software business near Reading to source a commercially-minded and low-ego Chief Financial Officer.

As the right hand to the CEO and Investor, you will lead all financial, management, and statutory reporting, as well as oversee a top-class finance function with a presence in the UK and overseas.

You will focus on revenue growth, new business opportunities, pricing, and cost management. You will hold the Board accountable on these fronts.

Ideal candidates will have experience in the 'tech-enabled services' or 'professional services' industry, with a good understanding of recurring revenue streams. You will have previously held CFO/FD roles and ideally transacted an exit for shareholders, whether for a Founder, PE house, or both.

You will likely have worked in a standalone, owner-managed, or PE-backed business rather than a division or subsidiary of a larger group.

We are seeking talented candidates who can start on a permanent basis within the next few months, preferably shortly after a recent transaction.

Alongside a generous salary and package, you will have the opportunity to take equity, with the potential for a seven-figure return in the medium term.

While based in the Thames Valley is preferred, we are open to candidates from other locations with the right approach.
