IChemE is seeking a Head of Finance & Governance to provide strategic leadership of the finance function and act as the organisation's lead adviser on charity and company governance, risk and regulatory matters. The role supports financial sustainability, compliance and resilience.

You will lead the development of financial strategy, budgets, forecasts and governance frameworks, while advising the CEO and Trustees on complex financial and governance issues. Hybrid working in Rugby, UK is offered.

Formación

• Strategic and operational finance leadership in charity or not-for-profit sectors.
• Fully qualified CCAB accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ICAS or equivalent).
• Experience advising senior leaders/boards on governance, risk and regulatory matters.
• Knowledge of charity and company governance, budgeting, management accounting and assurance.
• Ability to communicate complex financial, governance and risk information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of financial strategy, budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial reporting and insight to Senior Leadership Team and Board.
• Maintain robust financial controls, budgeting systems and processes.
• Produce statutory accounts and regulatory returns.
• Develop governance frameworks, policies and decision-making processes.
• Advise on governance, regulatory and commercial matters to the CEO, COO and Trustees.
• Lead risk management and assurance activities across the organisation.
• Manage relationships with auditors, regulators and external advisers.
• Develop Finance and Governance teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Drive value for money and efficient resource allocation.
