Job Description:

Engage Enrich Excel Academies is seeking a Chief Finance and Operations Officer (CFOO) to lead the financial and operational strategy of the trust. The role is full-time, permanent, and offers both on-site and remote working options.

The trust is a growing, values-led organization committed to community-based education, aiming to expand to eight primary schools by September 2025. The CFOO will manage school funding, resources, grants, and community projects, working closely with the CEO to develop sustainable long-term plans. The role involves leading a talented team, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and alignment with the trust's vision and values.

The ideal candidate is a professionally qualified finance leader with experience across multiple functions, preferably within education or the public sector. They should be an inspiring leader capable of shaping strategy and driving improvements, with expertise in strategic financial and operational management, systems, policies, and internal controls.

The Trust Board is dedicated and ambitious, committed to staff and pupil wellbeing. The role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of a community-rooted trust. Interviews are scheduled for the week beginning 21st July 2025. Candidates are encouraged to have a confidential discussion with the CEO, David Harris, and are welcome to visit any of the trust's schools to gain a better understanding.
