Chief Facilities Engineer

Central London (Easily commutable from: Chelsea, Kensington, Fulham, Hammersmith, Paddington, Notting Hill, Westminster, Victoria, Battersea, Clapham, Shepherd's Bush, Marylebone, Camden, Wimbledon, Putney, Ealing, Richmond).

Are you a hands-on Maintenance or Facilities Manager experienced in managing premium residential or commercial buildings, and ready for your next leadership challenge?

This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of day-to-day operations across multiple high-spec properties in a customer-facing environment, offering autonomy, variety, and long-term stability.

You'll be joining a well-established organisation operating in a high-end, service-led sector. Known for their attention to detail and strong team culture, they are looking for a confident leader who can manage both in-house staff and external contractors.

You'll manage two central London sites, leading a team of 8-12 engineers while overseeing contractors, maintenance schedules, compliance, and training. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring strong communication, technical expertise, and leadership.

The ideal candidate will be someone with strong people management skills, a good understanding of building systems, and experience running operations across multiple sites.

The Role:

  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance and compliance across multiple central London sites
  • Manage teams, contractors, schedules, and training with a focus on quality and safety
  • Work in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment where standards are high

The Person:

  • Background in facilities or maintenance management (ideally multi-site)
  • Strong technical understanding of M&E systems, PPMs, and compliance
