A dedicated charity organization in Sefton is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership. The role involves overseeing high-quality service delivery for survivors of domestic violence and abuse, managing financial sustainability, and building partnerships to enhance the charity's impact. An exciting opportunity has arisen at SWACA for the position of Chief Executive Officer.
SWACA is a charity that has been supporting adults, Children and Young People who have experienced Domestic Violence and Abuse in Sefton since 1974. Today, our dedicated team pride themselves on providing a professional, holistic service to more than 1,500 families each year. The service includes advocacy, advice, counselling, structured programmes of work, parenting support and therapeutic support on a one-to-one, family or group basis, and a dedicated specialist refuge service within the borough of Sefton.
Supporting a service user through their journey and to achieve their potential, building self-confidence, self-esteem and independence to care for themselves and their family is the ultimate goal for all those who we support.
The CEO will be an exceptional person, providing dynamic strategic leadership and direction, ensuring the Organisation effectively supports survivors and works towards ending domestic violence and abuse. This involves shaping the Charity's vision, overseeing high quality research and trauma informed service delivery, driving impact and innovation, operational excellence, managing financial sustainability, and advocating for survivors.
The CEO will build partnerships, raise the Charity's profile, and will ensure the Organisation's overall success and impact is realised and focused on both adult survivors of domestic abuse, and children.
As we commence on a newly commissioned journey, we are looking for a dynamic individual to provide strategic leadership and inform transformation and improvement, through collaboration and mature partnership working. This calls for individuals to use the power of influence rather than positional authority to engage and align people, focus their teams, sustain momentum, and ensure success.
