Job description

Role: Chief Executive Officer – BCNO Group

Location:Kent, ME14 and London, NW3 dependent upon operationalrequirements.

Remote working is not available

Contract:Permanent

Hours: Up to 1 FTE

Salary:£80,000 FTE

About Us

The BCNO Group brings together two well-renowned osteopathic educational institutions – the European School of Osteopathy and the British College of Osteopathic Medicine.

We provide osteopathic diploma and degree programmes to both undergraduate and postgraduate in the UK and to ESO International students in international locations. There are approximately 450 students studying with BCNO across all locations.

The Role

This is a pivotal leadership role which will be responsible for shaping and executing the group's academic strategy, while fostering new educational opportunities for BCNO Limited both in the UK and internationally.

The CEO will manage the commercial and financial activities of the wider company assets aligning to the BCNO Board strategy,driveperformance in teaching and learning to increase and improve capability and excellence, ensuring that students can meet their full educational potential.

About You

We are ideally seeking an experienced and dynamic professional who possesses:

  • Ability to demonstrate and effectively implement strategic thinking.
  • Proven track record of effective leadership, which can be demonstrated.
  • An effective and visionary leader who through their own professional conduct motivates staff and students to strive for the highest standards of achievement.
  • Registration as an Osteopath (practising or non-practising)
  • Extensive experience in academic development
  • A strong track record in people management
  • A teaching qualification and/or relevant management qualification (e.g., PGCE, MA in Education)
  • Comprehensive expertise in the commercial and financial management of an organisation
