Job summary

Hanover Scotland is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive to lead the organisation through its 2027–2032 strategy, ensuring financial resilience, governance and outstanding customer outcomes across Scotland.

You will act as the public voice with the Scottish Government, regulators and partners, shaping policy and collaboration while driving growth and service improvement. The role is hybrid with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Elgin, with travel across Scotland essential.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leading in a complex, regulated, customer‑facing organisation.
  • Ability to drive strategy, transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong political awareness and credibility to influence government, regulators and partners.
  • Commercial and financial acumen with experience in sustainable growth.
  • Understanding of digital innovation in care and housing contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Hanover Scotland's 2027–2032 strategy, setting clear direction and ensuring financial resilience.
  • Act as Hanover Scotland's public voice with government, regulators and partners across housing, health and care.
  • Capable of balancing ambition, affordability, investment, quality and risk while delivering outcomes for customers.
