Natural Resources Wales is seeking a Chief Executive to lead a large, complex organisation with responsibility for environmental, societal and economic outcomes in Wales. You will work with the Board, Ministers and senior partners to set strategy and deliver the Corporate Plan.

You will drive change, ensure robust governance and maintain public trust while modelling inclusive leadership and ethical public service. Flexible hybrid working is available to suit personnel locations.

Qualificações

• Proven track record of strategic leadership in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience advising boards and ministers with governance insight.
• Commitment to Nolan Principles and ethical public service.
• Ability to drive transformation and long-term sustainability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall leadership of Natural Resources Wales, ensuring delivery of its statutory purpose, strategic objectives and long term sustainability.
• Lead NRW as a single integrated organisation, creating clarity of direction and collective accountability.
• Lead and develop a high performing Executive Team with a culture of trust, challenge and inclusion.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for performance, culture, governance and stewardship of public resources.
• Model NRW values and public life principles across the organisation.
• Promote wellbeing, engagement and capability to meet future challenges.
• Build leadership capability, succession planning and organisational resilience.
• Set and sustain NRW's strategic direction and Corporate Plan.
