Role

The Elsie Normington Foundation (ENF) has a big vision to see children with special and complex needs thrive and fulfill their potential. We are at an exciting and critical point in our journey, and we are looking for a Chief Executive who shares our vision and will enthusiastically lead us to the next level of our growth and development. Having raised the funds for our unique integrated centre for excellence, The Haven, which opened in 2023, the foundation has a wider vision to support children with special and complex needs, and their families, across the Highlands.

The successful candidate will work with a small team on site at The Haven in Inverness, overseeing our three respite suites, community café, and collaborating with our partners SNAP (Special Needs Action Project), who run a specialist play centre on site. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader who can inspire and support staff, manage change, and engage with key stakeholders to develop and grow the charity across the Highlands. The role involves travel across the Highlands but will be based at The Haven Centre in Inverness.
