JOB TITLE: Chief Flooring Estimator

SUMMARY: Transylvania Flooring Professionals is a leading commercial flooring installation company specializing in polished concrete, epoxy installation, tile, and ceramic installations. With our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, we have established a formidable reputation in the industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Estimator to join our team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedules, coordinates, and oversees multiple construction projects.
• Scheduling of sub-contractors per project.
• Coordinates all necessary inspections.
• Assembles bid packets; approves and selects vendors and contractors.
• The ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
• The ability to manage time well and multitask.
• Experience in Flooring estimating.
• Understanding in how to measure floor plans and blueprints to provide quantities for bids, contracting, and ordering purposes for flooring materials.
• Completes all necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and estimating software.
