Job summary

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is seeking a Head of Architecture to lead enterprise-wide architectural management, shaping the digital strategy and multi-year roadmaps for the organisation. You will guide architecture across enterprise, business, solution and technical domains, establishing standards and governance to create secure, resilient digital services.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in technology, architecture, engineering or related field.
• TOGAF or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Substantial senior architecture management experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience advising executives and influencing senior stakeholders and shaping digital strategy.
• Experience guiding architecture across enterprise, solution and technical domains.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise architecture and maintain current, target and transition architectures across business capabilities, information, applications, integrations, infrastructure and cloud.
• Guide architecture across domains to ensure end-to-end design integrity, including cyber security and OT architectures.
• Define principles, policies, patterns and reference architectures that promote security by design, interoperability, resilience and scalability.
• Chair architecture governance, assure programmes, record decisions and manage risks.
• Translate roadmaps into prioritised initiatives and provide architecture support throughout delivery.
• Build and develop architecture capability and communities of practice across the organisation.
