Job summary

You will mentor engineering leaders, optimize SDLC, implement quality metrics, and align engineering with business goals across mobile, backend, and cloud platforms.

This hands-on leadership role requires experience in SaaS, serverless environments, AWS or Azure, and a proven ability to drive high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Head of Engineering or VP Engineering roles in a SaaS environment.
• Strong track record scaling high-traffic apps and building scalable architecture.
• Hands-on leader with deep cloud and serverless design knowledge.
• Excellent people leadership and ability to mentor engineers.
• Experience aligning technology strategy with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the engineering team, aligning with business/product goals.
• Improve SDLC processes and implement quality-driven practices.
• Lead high-traffic system design with serverless and caching strategies.
• Oversee code quality, security practices, and vulnerability management.
• Define and track SLAs, KPIs, and OKRs for release performance.
• Mentor engineering leads and foster leadership skills.
• Collaborate with CTO, solution architects, and product teams.
• Drive tech debt reduction and responsible experimentation.
