Malvern Theatres recherche un Chief Electrician pour rejoindre son équipe technique dans un poste à plein temps et permanent. Ce rôle impliquera de gérer le département électrique tout en participant à un projet de 20 millions de livres pour renforcer la position du théâtre en tant que grand centre artistique. Une expérience préalable dans un lieu de réception ou de tournée similaire est requise.

Responsibilities

• Gérer la direction quotidienne du département d'électricité au sein de Malvern Theatres.
• Collaborer avec le Directeur Technique et le Responsable de la Scène.

Job Summary

We are delighted to announce that an opportunity has arisen to join the technical team at Malvern Theatres in the role of Chief Electrician.

Job Description

Contract Term: Full time, Permanent (37 hours a week)

Responsible to: Technical Director

Salary Package: £37,000-£40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Interviews to be held: Wednesday 2nd July 2025

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the electrics department within the Malvern Theatres complex and should have previous experience in a similar receiving/touring venue. Whilst working closely with the Technical Director the Chief Electrician will also work alongside the Head of Stage, sharing the responsibility of managing all staff during the get-in and get-out for each show.

Now is an exciting time to join the team at Malvern Theatres with the commencement of our £20 million Levelling Up project, which will make us one of the largest arts centres in the UK. As part of the project the Chief LX will be involved with specifying equipment and liaising with the installers on how the different systems integrate with the existing building as well as the usual schedule of shows.
