Job summary

CFO Insights, part of United Media, is seeking a Chief Editor to lead our growing Insurtech publication. Based in London, you will own the magazines, drive editorial strategy and mentor the team while collaborating with the CEO to push the brand forward.

You will research trends, interview industry leaders, and oversee writing, editing and production of compelling content with input from our Graphic Designer. Strong writing and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field with outstanding results
• +5 years of work experience with outstanding performance from a magazine or media company
• UK work permit held
• Outstanding writing, editing and creative skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and well-organised, able to structure and prioritise work

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly research industry-related topics and ideas for stories and articles
• Interview relevant people
• Copywrite, write, edit and proofread content for our magazines
• Construct the magazines including photos, design and artwork (with help from our Graphic Designer)
