Chief Digital Information Officer wanted in Brighton for high-profile public sector body!

This organisation is a household name brand across the South Coast, and they are now looking for a Chief Digital Information Officer to join them on a contract basis, to lead the shaping and execution of their digital strategy.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have proven experience of leading the digital and IT functions of large, multi-layered organisations
  • Lead the development and implementation of digital and technology strategy, and ensure the department meets agreed service levels and KPIs
  • Take a highly innovative approach to the adoption of new technologies such as AI and automation, to continually enhance operational efficiency and end-user experience
  • Have strong people management experience, as you will be required to lead and provide strategic direction to colleagues across the digital and IT departments
  • Continually monitor digital and IT operations, to ensure robust infrastructure, system integration, and service delivery
  • Take a holistic approach to ensure that digital and IT align and integrate effectively with the organisation’s other business units
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect data, networks, and assets, and ensure proper data governance, integrity, and compliance across all systems
