SEPA is seeking a Chief Digital & Information Officer to provide strategic leadership for digital, data and technology services across Scotland's principal environmental regulator. You will shape SEPA's digital and information strategy, lead organisational transformation, strengthen cyber resilience and data capability, and influence cross-government partners at the executive level.

Salary: £103,650 - £112,024
Location: Flexible across Scotland, with regular presence in Glasgow and Stirling
Work pattern: Hybrid working with flexibility and executive visibility across the organisation

As Scotland's principal environmental regulator, SEPA is transforming how digital, data and technology support environmental protection, resilience and public service. As Chief Digital & Information Officer, you will provide strategic leadership for our digital, data, information governance and technology services, ensuring they enable our people, strengthen our decision-making and deliver better outcomes for Scotland's environment.
This is a pivotal executive role. You will shape and deliver SEPA's digital and information strategy, lead organisational transformation, strengthen cyber resilience and data capability, and ensure technology investment delivers measurable value. You'll work across organisational boundaries, influencing national partners and providing trusted strategic advice to the Chief Executive and Board.
