Job summary

Wyatt Partners is assisting a major insurance institution in London to appoint an Interim Chief Data Officer. The role reports to the COO and collaborates with the senior leadership to shape data strategy and governance across the enterprise.

The successful candidate will lead the development of data infrastructure, data acquisition, and governance while working with business leaders to plan succession and guide the Data Science function for future strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-scale data infrastructure and collection strategies.
• Experience dealing with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
• Insurance/financial services sector experience preferred.

Job description

Our client, a major insurance institution, are looking to hire an Interim Chief Data Officer.

The Chief Data Officer will report to the COO & work closely with a number of other C-suite leaders and Senior Managers.

The Chief Data Officer will be tasked with developing a strategy and kicking of the process of:

• Building Data Infrastructure
• Data Acquisition & Collection
• Data Governance

The Chief Data Officer will also work with the business to find their successor as well as helping to advise on future strategy for this function & the Data Science function within the company.

This role would suit an individual with strong corporate experience dealing with the C-Suite, who has experience of building Data Infrastructure & Collection strategy at an enterprise level.
