Job summary

Wincent is a fast-growing fintech/trading company seeking a Chief Compliance Officer to run the compliance function daily, manage the team, and uphold the firm''s reputation as a good actor in the market. You will translate high-level regulatory objectives into clear processes, controls, and executions, balancing risk with commercial needs in a fast-paced crypto environment.

This hands-on leader role requires ownership, strong judgment, and the ability to operate with incomplete information

Qualifications

• 7+ years in compliance with at least 3 years in team leadership.
• Experience with AML/CTF, CDD, and regulatory reporting.
• Background in regulated financial institutions and crypto/fintech.
• Proven ability to design scalable compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and operate the group-wide compliance framework with evidence.
• Maintain up-to-date regulatory knowledge across jurisdictions.
• Act as senior regulator contact, manage examinations and filings.
• Oversee AML/CTF activities, including CDD and monitoring.
• Direct day-to-day compliance team operations and drive improvements.
• Design tech-forward compliance infrastructure to scale with business.
• Assess compliance risk and implement mitigations.
• Translate strategy into executable projects and deliverables.
• Provide practical compliance advice to leadership on risks.
• Coach and develop the team and maintain high execution standards.
