We specialise in all aspects of maritime engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. We continue to provide industry-leading maritime solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Epsom, Peterborough, Bristol, and Glasgow offices.

Your Purpose

1. Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
2. Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
3. Successfully manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and programmes.
4. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Set quality assurance standards in design.
6. Grow, develop, and manage civil engineering capability within the practice.

What you can bring

• Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer.
• Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting port operations, berthing, mooring of vessels, and transit of people and goods globally.
• Working experience with current UK and European design standards, including BS6349.
