Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Great Yarmouth is seeking two Chief Cardiac Physiologists in Echo to join their Clinical Measurements Department. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, holding a relevant degree and BSE accreditation in Adult Transthoracic Echo. Positions available are for 37.5 hrs and 22.5 hrs per week.

Qualifications

• Completed a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
• Registered with RCCP or AHCS.
• Holds BSE accreditation or is working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Join the Clinical Measurements Department team.
• Provide Echo service in Community Diagnostic Centres.

Job summary

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for two Chief Cardiac Physiologists in Echo to join our friendly team in the Clinical Measurements Department at the James Paget University Hospital as well as providing an Echo service within the newly built Community Diagnostic Centres. One position is for 37.5 hrs per week and one 22.5 hrs per week.

You will need to have excellent communication skills with the ability to work both as part of a team and independently, along with an advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy.

Suitable applicants will have completed a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent) and be RCCP or AHCS registered. They will hold BSE accreditation in Adult Transthoracic Echo (or equivalent), or be working towards BSE accrediation and have already completed and passed the BSE theory exam - in which case Band 6 will apply until fully accredited, as well as meeting the requirements detailed in the person specification and job description.
