Your Role as a Chief Cardiac Physiologist:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a patient-centred clinical environment, delivering high-quality cardiac assessments while mentoring junior physiologists and contributing to our clinical audit programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing and reporting adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines
• Providing expert clinical guidance via the second opinion rota, ensuring adherence to peer-review protocols
• Conducting quality assurance checks on equipment and taking appropriate action
• Submitting reports & archiving study images as per contractual and SOP requirements
• Liaising with hospital departments & GP practices for urgent clinical referrals
• Supporting patient bookings and maintaining patient information systems

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in performing & reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards
• Full UK driving license
• Open-minded approach to innovation and new technologies
