This is a unique opportunity to join a world-leading technology developer based at their R+D centre in Cambridge.

They are seeking a high-calibre Chief Architect for their OS performance group, responsible for development, optimisation, and performance of their new wireless/mobile operating system. The Chief Architect will work with a team of highly qualified individuals at the intersection of hardware and software, focusing on CPU microarchitectures or similar areas.

Must Have Skills

• Degree / Masters / PhD in relevant fields such as micro-electronics, software development, etc.
• Experience with CPU microarchitecture or similar CPU emulation platforms like GEM5
• OS performance optimisation skills
• Significant experience in mobile OS architecture/development (iOS, Android, Tizen, Symbian, etc.) or in-depth knowledge of mobile chipsets
• Experience with Linux drivers, embedded drivers, and firmware in complete OS environments

The successful candidate can expect a flexible salary package, including a significant base salary (£200K+ for the right individual) and very generous benefits. Visa and relocation support are also available.
