Position Overview

We seek a visionary Chief Advanced Development Officer (CADO) to lead our global product design organization, shaping the future of our Shark and Ninja brands through innovative product design, breakthrough technologies, and disruptive concepts. This hands-on leader will drive the front-end innovation process, from concept to commercialization, fostering an inventorship mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the development of innovative consumer products that exceed expectations and build emotional brand connections.
2. Build and inspire a global team of concept creators, design storytellers, and inventors.
3. Communicate future-focused concepts effectively to senior management and cross-functional teams.
4. Partner with product development, marketing, creative, and growth teams to ensure concepts align with strategic goals.
5. Maintain a consumer-obsessed approach, solving problems creatively and inventively.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven track record of transforming consumer concepts into tangible products.
• Degree in Product Design Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 15+ years in industrial/product design, preferably in consumer goods and household appliances.
• Strong leadership, communication, and inspirational skills.
• Expertise in high-volume manufacturing processes and design for manufacturing.
• Positive, proactive attitude towards personal and team development.
