Job Role: Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will help and assist the team with daily routines including personal care and feeding.

Applicants must have at least 6 months of care experience and demonstrate compassion.

Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers assist with the daily care of patients in homes, hospitals, or patients' own homes. They are vital team members in healthcare settings.

As a Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker, you will work under nursing staff supervision alongside other healthcare assistants. Your duties may include:

• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Talking to patients to ease anxiety
• Helping patients move around
• Assisting with toileting needs

Daily tasks may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients within hospitals. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.
