Qualifications

About Us:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Chemotherapy Nurse to join our clients team in Hemel Hempstead. As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering personalised care to patients and their families, making a real difference in their lives every day. This role requires a strong background in chemotherapy administration, clinical assessments, and community nursing.



Job Description:

- Administer haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments as defined in patient care plans

- Document clinical data and report adverse drug events via correct protocols

- Build lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to support treatment and recovery

- Travel throughout a regional area to visit patients at home (full UK driving licence required)

- Maintain professional standards and deliver patient-focused care tailored to individual needs



Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Registered general nurse

- Qualified in administering cytotoxic drugs

- Ability to cannulate and experience in undertaking clinical assessments

- Community nursing experience advantageous

- Full UK driving licence

- SACT Passport for Chemotherapy Nurses is preferable
