Working flexible hours Monday to Friday, you'll be motivated to provide the highest standard of care. As a Bank Staff Nurse in Oncology at our Derby Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the necessary qualifications.

As a Bank Oncology Staff Nurse, you will:

1. Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
2. Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy
3. Fully assess each patient's needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care
4. Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies
5. Assist consultants during clinics
6. Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies
7. Be proficient in venepuncture, cannulation, and the use of central venous access devices

Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds, three operating theatres, and a comprehensive range of outpatient services. The Radiology department covers general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, MRI, and CT. Located in beautiful grounds, it's about 3 miles from the city centre, easily accessible by major roads and bus routes.
