University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the Combined Day Unit (Chemotherapy) at Royal Derby Hospital, with cross-site working across RDH, QHB and FNCH. This 12-month secondment provides exposure to systematic anti-cancer treatments for Haematology and Oncology patients, with ongoing professional development and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Band 5 Registered Nurse with patient care experience.
• Experience with chemotherapy or oncology care is advantageous.
• Willingness to work across sites and adapt to service changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in the CDU.
• Support the Nursing Team to improve the outpatient experience.
• Contribute to the delivery of anti-cancer treatments and patient care across Haematology and Oncology services.
