Qualifications

Are you a Chemotherapy Nurse looking to earn a little more income on your time? Pulse Nursing has an exciting opportunity for Chemotherapy Nurses to work within an NHS located in Sussex. Accessible by train and many amenities nearby including the beach. There is a block booking opportunity ready with weekday and weekend work available.

Rates of hourly pay of £36.00

Responsibilities of a Chemotherapy Nurse:

  • Supporting people with cancer, getting through treatment, and finding ways to cope with debilitating side-effects.
  • Supporting patients emotionally
  • Educating patients about their treatment
  • Administering chemotherapy drugs

For this role as a Chemotherapy Nurse you will need to:

  • Hold a recognised Chemotherapy/SACT/UKONS passport
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Need an in-depth knowledge of the different drugs used for different cancers, their potential side-effects, and the potential ways to help manage those side effects
  • Proven history with administering intravenous drugs
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Able to meet our framework compliance requirements, providing References, Occupational Health and current CV.

Hold a minimum of 6 months working experience in an NHS setting (in the last 12 months)
