Education Authority invites applications for a Teacher - Post-Primary at Portadown College, Armagh/Craigavon. This fixed-term role covers May 2026 to Oct 2027 with a full-time schedule and Salary £31,650 - £48,919 per annum.

The post requires a teaching qualification, a degree or Level 6, demonstrable experience teaching Chemistry to GCSE, and competence with digital classroom tools. You will contribute to planning, teaching, assessment, and pupil support in a collaborative school community.

Formación

• Hold a teaching qualification which meets the requirements for recognition to teach in grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland.
• Hold a degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification prepared to teach Chemistry as main subject.
• Demonstrable experience of teaching Chemistry to GCSE with positive outcomes.
• Experience using IT systems and digital tools to support learning.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prepare courses and lessons aligned to the NI curriculum.
• Teach according to pupil needs, set and mark work, assess progress.
• Promote pupil well-being, provide guidance on education and careers.
• Record and report on pupil development and attainment.
