Job summary

About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Chemistry across the secondary age range, delivering high-quality lessons that combine strong subject knowledge with practical and engaging learning. You will help students develop their scientific understanding, analytical skills and confidence while maintaining high expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons up to KS5.

• Teaching across KS3, GCSE and KS5 where required.

• Developing students' practical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Assessing and monitoring student progress effectively.

• Preparing students for examinations and supporting strong outcomes.

• Maintaining excellent classroom management and student engagement.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Science department.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
