We are currently recruiting for a Chemistry Teacher to work in a rural secondary school in North Yorkshire.

This is a part-time (0.6FTE) Chemistry placement and will be to start in September until the end of the academic year, in the first instance, with a potential to be made permanent.

A successful Teacher will be able to deliver Chemistry to A level and will be responsible for planning, marking and their own exam classes.

This is a ’Good’ Ofsted rated school, based in North Yorkshire, where leaders are ambitious for pupils, both academically and for their wider personal development as young people and future citizens. Pupils rise to this challenge. They achieve very highly in their GCSE and A level examinations.

Requirements:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject
• 2 x references from educational establishments
• A passion for success and quality teaching
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
