Role Overview: As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be instrumental in developing students’ understanding of Chemistry, enhancing their analytical and experimental skills, and preparing them for their exams. You will be teaching students from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level, encouraging their passion for the subject and guiding them to academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative chemistry lessons that comply with the national curriculum.
  • Perform demonstrations and conduct experiments to deepen students’ understanding and engagement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide targeted feedback to foster student achievement.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly laboratory and classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with other science teachers to integrate curriculum and share best practices.
  • Engage with parents and school staff to maximize student learning opportunities and academic performance.
