Qualifikationen

• Experience planning and delivering science curriculum across KS3/KS4.
• Experience teaching Chemistry at KS5 or A-level is desirable.
• Ability to assess and track student progress and provide targeted feedback.

Aufgaben

• Plan and teach Science across Key stages 3 & 4 and challenge students to achieve at the very highest level.
• Plan and teach Chemistry at key stages 5 and challenge students to achieve at the very highest level.
• Maintain high professional standards of attendance, punctuality, appearance and conduct.
• Develop positive and courteous relations with students, parent and colleagues.
• Ensure schemes of work are followed, reviewed and modified to enable high standards of teaching and learning.
• Keep up to date with developments in Science and education to ensure best practice.
• Monitor students' work to ensure high standards and identify learning needs.
• Ensure that pupil progress is regularly assessed, recorded and used to inform future teaching.
• Feedback to students and parents on progress with clear guidance for improvement.
• Promote Science within the school to encourage students' interest.
• Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Head of Department or Headteacher.
