A leading global ecommerce group is seeking a Chemist to oversee the product development from concept to completion. The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least three years' experience in product development. Responsibilities include maintaining lab standards, delegating tasks, and ensuring compliance with cosmetic regulations. The role will also involve collaboration with various teams and presenting findings internally and externally.

Based within the technical division of the business, The R&D Team are responsible for formulating products and seeing them through from concept to the factory whilst also ensuring all testing elements required for the PIF are carried out.
Reporting to Senior chemist/ Technical Manager/Head of R&D the Chemist will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and have at least three years' experience in a relevant product development role. They will be responsible for taking product briefs from concept through to completion working closely with the relevant teams associated with those projects. They will be required to delegate work to Laboratory Technicians and Junior Chemists and oversee their training.
