Are you an experienced ProcessEngineer with strong process safety credentials, ready to step into asenior-level role on a strategically important UK manufacturing site?

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer tojoin a high-performing team at a large-scale manufacturing facilityhandling high-hazard materials. This is a site of nationalsignificance, operating complex, continuous processes and governed byCOMAH regulations. The role offers a unique mix of technicalchallenge, regulatory exposure, and continuous improvement in ahigh-integrity, safety-focused environment.

WhatYou'll Be Doing

• Lead the charge on process safety, driving improvement projects that reduce risk to people, theenvironment, and the business.
• Be a key contact for UKregulators , including the HSE and EA – you’ll help maintain thesite's licence to operate and ensure compliance with environmentalpermitting.
• Oversee process hazard analysis ,including HAZOPs, LOPA, SIL assessments, and dispersion modelling.
• Support emergency planning , human factorsassessments, and alarm management strategies.
• Work closelywith senior stakeholders, joint venture partners, and industry forumsto promote best practices in process safety and operations.

What We're Looking For

• AChartered Chemical Engineer or equivalent with a strongbackground in high-hazard chemical processing.
• IOSH or NEBOSHqualified, ideally with additional formal training in process safetymethodologies.
• Hands-on experience leading HAZOPs anddeveloping Safety Reports under COMAH regulations.
• Strongcommunicator who can coach, influence, and challenge at all levels.
• A natural problem solver with an eye for detail and acommitment to operational excellence.
