Scantec is sourcing a Chemical Process Operator in Newmarket, Suffolk, on days rotating into a broader shift pattern. The role focuses on safe, efficient production of specialist chemical products within a collaborative operations team.

You will work across production, drying, and packaging, monitoring equipment and process conditions, and maintaining thorough documentation. A chemistry background and a proactive, team-oriented approach are essential for success.

Formación

• Experience in chemical manufacturing, production, or related industrial environment.
• Strong procedural and safety mindset with ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to work in rotating day shifts and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out manufacturing activities per batch instructions and quality requirements.
• Operate and monitor plant equipment across production, drying, and packaging processes.
• Monitor process conditions and escalate or troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Work with supervisors to prioritise workloads and maintain schedules.
• Support continuous improvement to improve efficiency and safety.
• Complete accurate production logs and report incidents or deviations.
