Job summary

Kinetic plc in Wythenshawe is recruiting a Chemical Process Operative to join a well-established chemical manufacturer. The role focuses on operating within a chemical environment, safely handling raw materials and finished goods, loading/unloading vehicles, and supporting production, with a strong emphasis on health and safety.

Candidates with FLT Counterbalance experience will have a strong advantage; the position offers a genuine temporary-to-permanent route and stable career prospects,

Qualifications

• Experience in a chemical or process environment.
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a chemical manufacturing environment following safety procedures.
• Move raw materials and finished goods safely.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Support production activities.
• Maintain housekeeping and high safety standards.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting as required.

Kinetic are recruiting a Chemical Process Operative on behalf of a highly reputable chemical manufacturer based in Wythenshawe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with nearly 100 years of industry expertise, specialising in plastic and adhesive products. Please note: This role is within a chemical manufacturing environment. We are specifically seeking candidates with relevant manufacturing/chemical experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating within a chemical manufacturing environment, adhering to strict safety procedures
• Safely moving raw materials and finished goods
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Supporting production
• Carrying out general housekeeping and maintaining high safety standards
• Manual handling and heavy lifting duties

Requirements

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence would be a strong advantage
• Experience in a chemical or process environment
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
