Salary – £33,000 - £35,000 (depending on interview performance & experience)

We are currently offering the opportunity for a Chemical Operator to join a company based in Cambridgeshire which produces specialised chemicals used in medicines, electronics, and other products.

This role is ideal for an individual with prior hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing within a chemical plant or similar environment.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

The Role

As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Manufacturing specialised chemicals used in a variety of products including medicines and electronics,
  • Operating manufacturing equipment and monitoring production processes,
  • Troubleshooting any production issues,
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Current / Recent Experience Required:
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience within chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing (essential).
  • Prior experience handling hazardous chemicals/materials (essential).
  • BSc/MSc/equivalent degree within a chemistry-based discipline (desired).
Profile Required:
  • Existing UK work eligibility (essential).
  • Happy to commute/relocate to Cambridgeshire (essential).
  • An interest in working within a chemical plant environment (essential).
