We are currently offering the opportunity for a Chemical Operator to join a company based in Cambridgeshire which produces specialised chemicals used in medicines, electronics, and other products.
This role is ideal for an individual with prior hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing within a chemical plant or similar environment.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Manufacturing specialised chemicals used in a variety of products including medicines and electronics,
- Operating manufacturing equipment and monitoring production processes,
- Troubleshooting any production issues,
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience within chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing (essential).
- Prior experience handling hazardous chemicals/materials (essential).
- BSc/MSc/equivalent degree within a chemistry-based discipline (desired).
- Existing UK work eligibility (essential).
- Happy to commute/relocate to Cambridgeshire (essential).
- An interest in working within a chemical plant environment (essential).
