Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Laboratory/Quality Support candidate for a UK-based role. You will monitor chemical parameters, control baths, and perform routine laboratory checks to ensure product quality and process stability in a manufacturing environment.

You will also record test results, investigate deviations, and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to COSHH and safety procedures. A GCSE in Maths/English/Science and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Mathematics, English and Science.
• Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory or chemical process environment.
• Understanding of basic chemical testing techniques.
• Ability to accurately follow procedures and maintain records.
• Awareness of safe chemical handling practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain chemical parameters for the powder coating pre-treatment process to ensure consistent coating performance.
• Monitor and control chemical baths for Tin-plating line to meet specifications.
• Perform routine laboratory checks: pH, conductivity, temperature, titrations and concentration analyses.
• Record, analyse and report test results; identify deviations and escalate as needed.
• Support improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
