Job summary

Stainless Restoration Ltd in Hyde is seeking a Laboratory / Chemical Production Assistant to join our metal finishing and chemical processing team. The role covers routine testing, analysis, and supportive operational tasks across aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, defence, domestic and nuclear sectors.

We welcome applicants at all levels, from recent graduates to experienced professionals. A driving licence is essential and training will be provided.

Qualifications

Hands-on laboratory experience or interest in chemistry.
Willing to train the right person.
Ability to work across two sites and sometimes travel.
Full training provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Monitor and adjust chemical solutions used within our processes.
Develop, trial and register greener and more effective solutions for Enerjex products.
Support chemical bulk blending; preparation, validation and delivery/decanting.
Assist with investigation and troubleshooting across the group.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe laboratory / shopfloor environment.
Follow laboratory, chemical handling and health & safety procedures.
Carry out general duties to support the wider operations of the business.
