Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  1. Solve technical problems supporting Manufacturing/Production.
  2. Manage technical projects to completion, including plating processes, corrective actions, new product launches, machine repairs, lean activities, designing tooling, etc.
  3. Develop plating processes and train personnel on plating concepts and processes.
  4. Create safety procedures for workers operating equipment or working near chemical reactions.
  5. Troubleshoot issues with chemical and plating manufacturing processes.
  6. Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to optimize performance and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
  7. Perform tests and monitor process performance.
  8. Design and plan equipment layouts.
  9. Develop and maintain plating production costs.
  10. Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 4 to 6 years of experience or equivalent through education and experience, with a focus on EHS waste disposal, chemical engineering, or plating.
