Job Summary:The Chemical Engineer IIwill play a crucial role in optimizing and improving manufacturing processes at the Calvert City site. This position involves working closely with production, maintenance, safety, and environmental teams to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Process Optimization:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
-Project Management:Lead and support projects related to process reliability, quality improvement, and safety enhancements.
-Troubleshooting:Provide technical support for troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions.
-Data Analysis:Analyze process data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
-Safety and Compliance:Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
-Collaboration:Work closely with production supervisors, engineers, maintenance, lab, safety, and environmental personnel to support all facets of production.
-Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
Qualifications:
-Education:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
-Experience:3-5 years of experience in a process engineering role within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
-Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
