Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Days and a Short Working Week Too…

We are seeking to recruit a proven Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our established maintenance team.

In return for your maintenance skills and experience, we offer:

Duties of a Maintenance Engineer

You will undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, supporting a wide range of plant and equipment.

Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer

Ideally, you will be apprentice trained and qualified electrically to City & Guilds or NVQ standard. You should have both electrical and mechanical skills, with an understanding of PLC controls and drives preferred.

Your experience should be gained within heavy engineering, manufacturing, or production environments.

The role is commutable from Great Bridge, Tipton, Tividale, Walsall, and Wednesbury.

We have an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer at a heavy, high-volume production site in Bilston near Wolverhampton. The company produces major brand products for Screwfix, B&Q, and Wickes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens S7 and have worked in a heavy engineering environment.

This role involves plant maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics, working a continental shift pattern. A lifestyle bonus of £47 per weekend day worked (excluding overtime) will bring the total salary to approximately £50,589.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

  • £48,000 base salary, increasing to £50,589 with lifestyle payments
  • Overtime paid at premium rates (x1.5)
  • £47.08 lifestyle payment per weekend day worked
  • Product-specific training (e.g., Siemens S7)
  • 23 days holiday

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:
