Responsibilities

  1. Day to Day Running of the Kitchen – leading
  2. Rota - Organising monthly rota for kitchen according to budgets
  3. Menu Planning – working closely with the owner to create weekly seasonal specials alongside a regular menu offering
  4. Team training and development, recipe development, team briefings and appraisals
  5. Stock Control: Supplier Liaison, Ordering, Invoices, Stock Counting, Wastage Control
  6. Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Rosters

Everything is made fresh in house, including all pastries.

About You

This role would suit a creative head chef who loves to cook and thrives in a busy kitchen environment working within a close-knit friendly team.

Must be experienced as a head chef within a foodie cafe or restaurant environment serving a fresh and innovative all-day offering.

Possesses a calm & methodical working approach – self-motivated, team-spirited, with a desire to be part of a growing, modern, and cutting-edge business.

Reliable, creative, hardworking, with a genuine intention to commit long-term to the role.

Has a positive attitude, able to motivate, inspire, and nurture the team.

Works for a very supportive owner who aims to further grow the business with a second site.

Working hours: 45 hours per week, no late closes, weekends on a rota.

Great potential to expand on pop-up events, launches, and guest chef events.

Salary & Benefits

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum
